Job description

Overview
FWI is building a team to support the Naval Postgraduate School's (NPS) NPS Extended Campus (NEC) and Office of University Communications (OUC. NPS maintains a broad portfolio of institutional websites supporting academic programs, public affairs, and student and faculty resources. This position will bridge technical web maintenance, content management, and site development to ensure NPS web properties remain current, functional, and professionally presented across all platforms. The Web Content Manager - Webmaster will maintain and update NPS websites, support ongoing web migration and redesign efforts, collaborate with ITACS developers, and ensure the NPS online presence supports the institution's academic and communications mission

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update NPS website pages
  • Perform web updates and design new pages
  • Support NPS web migration and portal management deployment
  • iIcorporate professional-quality web graphics
  • Collaborate with ITACS web developers
  • Support social media account maintenance across YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

Qualifications
Required:
  • BA/BS degree in relevant professional discipline
  • Demonstrated experience with web content management systems; ability to perform web updates, maintain websites, and design webpages.

Desired:
  • Experience maintaining website content and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new content management systems quickly.
