Job description

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content including A-Roll, product B-Roll, tutorials, in person events, and trending content
  • Collaborate with marketing, social, tech marketing, and product teams to translate briefs into compelling video assets through filming, editing, clipping, color correction and sound design
  • Operate Elgato's livestreams: camera set up and operation, mixing/switching, audio mixing, graphics, and encoder management
  • Set up, maintain, and manage studio and live production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio, streaming hardware and software)
  • Monitor stream health and quality during livestreams and resolve technical issues in real time
  • Stay up to date on production techniques, streaming platforms, and trends, and recommend workflow or equipment improvements
  • Maintain an organized media library and file management workflow

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in video production, live broadcast, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated portfolio/reel covering edited video work and/or live production credits
  • Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve)
  • Hands-on experience with live production tools (e.g., OBS Studio, cameras, studio lighting, or similar)
  • Camera operation skills (cinema/mirrorless and PTZ) and a working knowledge of lighting and audio fundamentals
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Availability to work occasional early mornings/weekends for live events
  • Collaborative team player who's eager to learn new skills, communicates openly, and helps uphold a high standard of quality

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of streaming protocols, encoding (RTMP/SRT, bitrates, codecs), and platform requirements (YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn Live, TikTok, Instagram etc.)
  • Motion graphics experience (After Effects or similar)
  • Color grading experience (DaVinci Resolve)
  • Audio post-production skills (Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar)
  • Experience with NDI workflows, remote production (REMI), or hybrid events
  • Familiarity with Elgato content creation hardware ecosystems (capture cards, stream controllers, studio lighting)

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  

Annual Salary Range $75,000-$85,000 USD
