Job description

The purpose of this position is to perform traffic control functions involving the implementation of traffic signal networking communications and timing plans for isolated and coordinated systems in the City. Provides multi-way stop warrants, traffic signal warrants, speed studies, traffic simulations and related traffic engineering studies. The employee provides technical assistance for general traffic signal design, operation and maintenance. This job works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
