Job Description
Alaska Nuna Adventures offers immersive, sustainable small group tours that connect guests with the feeling of community and culture. Our tours in Alaska are designed to make our signature experience. We are seeking a professional tour guide to join our team.
Position Summary
We are looking for an Alaska Tour Guide who will lead a group of tourists on a safe, educational, and unforgettable tour through one of the select tours. This role demands exceptional guiding abilities, clear and engaging communication with guests, and a strong dedication to Kodiak Island's cultural values.
Key Responsibilities Include
  • Lead alongside facility employees and communicate effectively with tourists
  • Provide interpretation of cultural history and general knowledge
  • Always ensure guests safety and manage risk in any environment
  • Occasionally ride along with group and driver guide
  • Maintain excellent communication and operations with staff and support teams

Requirements
  • Valid documentation to work in the United States
  • Strong knowledge of Kodiak Island and surrounding waters
  • First aid or higher certification (willing to obtain)
  • Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Ability to work long days, including weekends in variable weather conditions
  • High standards of safety, professionalism, and tourism values
