Structural Engineer (0โ€“5 Years Experience)
MHAI is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for early-career professionals who are ready to expand their technical skills, while taking on increasing responsibility and ownership of their work within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Our firm serves a diverse client base, offering exposure to a wide variety of projectsโ€”from structural evaluations and investigations to large institutional facilities. Project types include educational buildings, historic restorations, municipal infrastructure, and multi-family residential developments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and timber systems, with guidance from senior engineers and increasing independence over time
  • Prepare construction documents, drawings, and engineering calculations
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural assessments
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Contribute to solving design challenges and meeting project deadlines
  • Support project delivery, with opportunities to take on discrete project components or tasks as experience grows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
