Job Summary:
DubClub is building a destination for sports betting enthusiasts, aiming to create a unified experience for fans and cappers. The Senior Software Engineer will own projects end-to-end, working closely with founders and GTM leaders to deliver impactful features for millions of users.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with customer-facing “co-pilots” (founders and GTM leaders) to define roadmap and deliver value for DubClub's users.
• Lead design and development of full-stack product features in the mobile and web app.
• Balance speed, scope, and maintainability to deliver near-term immediate impact, while keeping long-term scalability in mind.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to other engineers.
• Collaborate with GTM leaders and design talent to implement intuitive, reliable, and valuable user experiences.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Chicago
• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in startups/scaleups
• Proven track record of shipping impactful features across the stack
• Passionate about technology and adding value for users through elegant, beautiful product
• You thrive on building practical solutions that people love to use as part of their everyday routine
• You are an unambiguous adopter of agentic coding methodologies
• Strong technical judgment: you know when to optimize, when to cut scope, and when to refactor
