Familiarity with vehicle inspection checklists, two-way radios, and route management systems is typically required. In addition to driving, they enforce safety rules, perform routine vehicle checks, and communicate with school staff and parents as needed. School bus drivers must meet specific licensing and training requirements, including background checks and specialized driving tests. Their role is essential in providing safe and reliable transportation for students.

What are some common challenges faced by professional school bus drivers, and how can they be managed?

Professional school bus drivers often encounter challenges such as managing student behavior, maintaining strict adherence to schedules, and ensuring safety in varying traffic and weather conditions.
