• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and accurately diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Lead individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and approaches.
• Empower clients by teaching effective coping mechanisms and self-care strategies to manage daily challenges.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate clients' holistic care.
• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records of each client's treatment journey and progress.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will engage with clients in a remote capacity, utilizing telehealth platforms designed to enhance accessibility and comfort for all individuals seeking support.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Proven experience providing one-on-one counseling as well as group therapy sessions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to counseling practices.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate the varying needs of clients, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a community health context.
• Training or specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family therapy.
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
