This position is entirely remote, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments effectively. As a member of our outpatient counseling team, you will work in a structured yet flexible environment that promotes autonomy while providing direct support to clients. You will have access to advanced electronic medical records (EMR) systems and support from administrative staff to ensure you can focus primarily on client care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored therapy plans aimed at meeting individual client needs.
• Provide therapeutic services to diverse groups, including individuals, couples, and families, employing various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, contributing your expertise while also seeking insights from medical and social service professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that complies with regulatory standards, guaranteeing confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Stay current with mental health trends and evidence-based practices through professional development workshops, research, and networking with peers.

Your work will primarily involve serving individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will engage with clients who may experience barriers to accessing traditional care, ensuring they receive the necessary support in a compassionate and respectful manner.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, with proven effectiveness in client care.
• Strong knowledge of state laws and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients, and an empathetic approach to therapy.
• Experience with EMR software to manage client records efficiently.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred, enhancing the breadth of care you can provide.
