What are Professional Psychics?

Professional psychics are individuals who claim to possess heightened intuitive abilities or extrasensory perception (ESP) that allow them to provide insights, guidance, or predictions about people's lives. They may use tools such as tarot cards, astrology, palmistry, or mediumship to conduct readings for clients. Many people seek out professional psychics for advice on relationships, career, and personal growth. While psychic abilities are not scientifically proven, some individuals find value and comfort in the guidance provided by such professionals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Professional Psychic, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Professional Psychic, you need strong intuitive abilities, excellent observational skills, and a solid understanding of various psychic methods such as tarot, astrology, or clairvoyance, often supported by relevant training or certification. Familiarity with digital communication platforms, booking systems, and secure online payment tools is important for reaching and managing clients. Outstanding interpersonal skills, empathy, and ethical sensitivity help build trust and foster a supportive client relationship. These skills and qualities ensure accurate readings, repeat business, and a reputable practice in a competitive industry.

What are some common challenges faced by professional psychics when working with clients?

Professional psychics often encounter challenges such as managing client expectations, handling emotionally charged sessions, and ensuring ethical boundaries are maintained. It's important to communicate clearly about the scope of services, avoid giving medical or legal advice, and foster a supportive environment where clients feel heard. Additionally, maintaining confidentiality and practicing self-care are essential to prevent burnout in this emotionally demanding role.

What is the difference between Professional Psychic vs Tarot Card Reader?

Work EnvironmentPrivate practice, spiritual centers, online platformsMetaphysical shops, fairs, online readings
Industry UsageUsed for broad spiritual guidance, energy readings, and intuitive insightsFocused on interpreting tarot cards for specific questions or guidance

While both professionals work in the spiritual and metaphysical industry, a Professional Psychic offers broader intuitive and energy readings, whereas a Tarot Card Reader specializes in interpreting tarot cards for specific questions. The roles often overlap, but the main difference lies in the tools and scope of practice.

  • Design and maintain HA/AG clusters, Disaster Recovery strategies, Standard and Enterprise SQL Server configurations, seeking cost-effective and efficient solutions even beyond Enterprise features where possible.
  • Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes (e.g., Snowflake), and ETL processes to support analytics and BI.
  • Develop, tune, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models for high performance and scalability.
  • Proactively monitor and analyze performance using Datadog, SQL Profiler, PerfMon, and internal system views (DMVs)
  • Create and maintain ERD diagrams, ensuring well-documented and scalable database architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Engineering, and Data Analytics/BI teams to ensure database reliability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, retention, and privacy policies, implementing proper auditing and encryption standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DBAs and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

What Youโ€™ll Need To Be Successful:

  • 10+ years of hands-on SQL Server experience (administration and development).
  • 3+ years managing or leading database teams in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience with HA/AG, replication, partitioning, and indexing strategies in an online, high-availability environment meeting 99.99% uptime.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse and data lake design (Snowflake preferred).
  • Advanced skills in SQL performance optimization and system-level diagnostics.
  • Experience with AWS RDS/EC2/S3 and Azure SQL environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Working Conditions:

  • Continuous work on a provided laptop and equipment.
  • Ability to work from home including stable internet connection.ย ย
  • Occasionally travel to headquarter office if necessary.ย ย
