Job description

Function as part of a professional merchandising team that operates with efficiency and produces maximum case sales for the Crescent Crown Distributing brand portfolio. Develop high level skill levels in the stocking of store shelves and displays. Develop high levels of customer service and excellent relationships with customers. Develop excellent lines of communication with the Sales Department. Working on the weekends when stores are the busiest.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years of age preferred);
  • Valid Louisiana driver's license and acceptable driving record;
  • Provide his/her own reliable personal vehicle for business use;
  • Able to weekend mornings or afternoons
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
  • Excellent customer relations skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under direction;
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend and move and climb in high, low, and tight areas to merchandise shelves and coolers and stock displays;
  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis, and ensure that work responsibilities are covered when absent;
  • Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate;
  • Observe safety and security procedures, use equipment and materials properly;
  • Able to continuously lift/carry at least 50 lbs. Able to push/pull heavy loads at least 240 lbs.
  • Able to maneuver a dolly effectively;
  • Minimum of one (1) year of merchandising experience in DSD industry is preferred;
  • Consumer product industry sales experience is preferred;
  • Undergraduate college degree or acceptable position-related experience level is preferred.
