Litigation Associate – Professional Liability Defense

A respected Los Angeles litigation practice is seeking a Litigation Associate to support a sophisticated professional liability and complex litigation caseload. This position offers meaningful involvement in litigation strategy, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation while working alongside experienced litigators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze legal files to identify significant issues and prepare case assessments
  • Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents
  • Assist with discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and arbitration matters
  • Support case strategy development through legal analysis and research
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation experience
  • Background in professional liability defense and/or complex commercial litigation preferred
