The Kitchen Crew Member is an essential part of the team in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences while maintaining operational efficiency. This role includes preparing high-quality food, ensuring cleanliness, and providing fast and friendly service in adherence to brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selection.
Take and process orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing questions and resolving minor complaints promptly.
Food Preparation
Prepare and assemble menu items following standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent food quality.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards during preparation and handling.
Back-of-House Duties
Assist in stock organization, storage, and inventory checks.
Follow procedures for cooking, grilling, frying, and assembling orders.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and adhere to sanitation protocols.
Operational Support
Work as part of a team to meet service speed and accuracy goals.
Assist with restocking supplies, such as packaging, condiments, and beverages.
Support team members in other areas as needed during busy periods.
