IT Delivery Project Manager
Location: Remote (Must be based in California, Oregon, Washington, or Nevada)

ICF is seeking an IT Delivery Project Manager to support our growing energy efficiency portfolio in the Western region. This role is ideal for a project manager with experience leading software and technology delivery efforts in client-facing environments. The successful candidate will manage multiple IT and software implementation projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and help deliver high-quality solutions that support utility and energy efficiency programs. This position requires strong project delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across technical and business teams in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead delivery of software and IT implementation projects supporting utility and energy efficiency programs from initiation through closeout
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and delivery milestones
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, product, development, quality assurance, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle
  • Use Jira and related project delivery tools to track tasks, manage workflows, and monitor progress
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business growth
  • Lead implementation readiness, release coordination, and lessons learned activities to support continuous improvement

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT or software delivery projects with demonstrated accountability for schedule, budget, scope, and risk
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a client-facing or matrixed environment while leading cross-functional teams across technical and business functions
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience supporting Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Ability to lead analyses and recommend cost effective solutions
  • Experience working with and/or managing sub-contractors or vendors
