Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Professional Electrical Engineer to join our team! As an Electrical Engineer on the team, you will be directly involved with the creation and development of new circuits, systems, and components with an emphasis on manufacturing capabilities. You will also work closely with other engineers and team leaders to best understand the needs of the company and continuing design needs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, very organized, and has experience with design and engineering software. 

Responsibilities 
  • Directs and assists in planning, developing, and coordinating electrical engineering and design solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family type projects including:
  • AutoCAD and/or REVIT power and systems plans showing layout of devices, circuiting, schedules for specification of equipment, and installation details.
  • filling out panel and equipment schedules using MS Excel.
  • Lighting layout/design, lighting controls, and filling out energy compliance forms.
  • Coordination with other consultants to ensure electrical design is complete and accommodates all project requirements.
  • Work with and manage a design team to meet deadlines.
  • Develop electrical specifications.
  • Generate opinions on probable electrical construction costs to help establish project budgets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Experience using engineering and design software like AutoCAD, MathWorks, and MATLAB
  • Experience in designing with manufacturing in mind
  • Experience with design documentation
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize based on changing needs
