Position Responsibilities: The Development Coordinator supports fundraising and community engagement efforts through donor database management, gift processing, reporting and operational coordinator. This role ensures data accuracy, timely donor acknowledgement, and effective collaboration across Development, Finance, Communications and Community Programs.

Essential Functions: (Core duties/tasks fundamental and not marginal to the performance of the job)

  • Donor Database & Systems:
    • Manage and maintain DonorPerfect CRM, ensuring accuracy and integrity of donor records
    • Process and track all gifts, including online donations, checks, credit cards, matching gifts, memorial contributions and grant fundraising
    • Create and maintain campaigns, funds, and database attributes
    • Perform routine data audits, list management, and systems updates
    • Serve as liaison to database support vendors
  • Gift Processing, Reporting, Donor Stewardship:
    • Reconcile all donations with Finance on a daily/weekly basis
    • Maintain documentation for all revenue sources and transactions
    • Generate reports for Development Committee meetings
    • Coordinate donor acknowledgement process, including thank you letters and other communications
    • Ensure timely and appropriate donor recognition
    • Monitor and respond to Development and Community Relations email inboxes
    • Track and report memorial and tribute gifts
  • Fundraising & Event Support:
    • Assist with execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and annual appeals
    • Support online fundraising platforms (e.g. Qgiv), including event pages and donation forms
  • Administrative:
    • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, invitations and RSVP tracking
    • Support community meetings (e.g. Elder Network), including logistics and communications
    • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistency in reporting and processes
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree strongly preferred with a minimum of three years of administrative coordination in non-profit development or fundraising
  • Experience with donor databases (DonorPerfect) and fundraising platforms preferred
  • Superior computer skills including database management; MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for systems management and audit abilities to ensure data accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, able to juggle or negotiate priorities and/or deadlines.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, creative environment by prioritizing work and appropriately managing frequent interruptions.
  • Able to consistently maintain a friendly, outgoing nature that includes a sense of humor.

Hours per week : 37.5

At AgeSpan, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining rate of pay. Actual rate of pay depends on factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $58,000 - $63,000/year.
