The Primrose School of Broken Arrow located at 1701 W. Albany St Broken Arrow, OK 74012 is seeking an Instructional/Education Coach for our private, newer preschool (opened Oct 2021). This position will ensure adherence to our mission of providing the best and most trusted early childhood education and child care services to the families we serve. We are seeking an individual who is energetic, organized, a problem-solver, and possesses strong communication skills. This individual needs to be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the success of our next generation.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Is responsible for the overall supervision, classroom management, and daily class functions of a group of children in all classrooms.
  • Passionately believes in and can communicate all aspects of the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach curriculum to teaching and learning in implementing the lesson plan and schedule.
  • Coordinates with other members of the Leadership Team to implement the training plan for new teaching staff according to classroom-specific Continual Learning Guides
  • Conducts classroom informal observations to support and ensure Balanced Learning® curriculum implementation and delivery regularly
  • Supports teachers by modeling, side-by-side coaching, and/or feedback.
  • Collaborates with other members of the Leadership Team to provide ongoing feedback for teaching staff, using a variety of tools such as Classroom Observation Forms and Teacher Evaluations
  • Works with teachers to identify strengths and areas of opportunity to design plans for continual improvement
  • Creates a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions for themselves
  • As needed, assist as a substitute teacher or a breaker
  • Coordinate the mentorship program
  • Assist with job responsibilities and duties as determined by the Director

Required skills and experience:
  • A CDA, COM, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program or early education school
  • Approved Entry-Level Child Care Training (ELCCT) listed on the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) website prior to employment
  • CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep in the infant room are required or obtained during employment
  • Master teacher level 3 ((Oklahoma Competency Certificate) or above required
