H&A is currently serving 16 major auto manufacturersnationwideand in Canada.
The Operation Supervisor role is responsible for total facility and yard inventory management. They will oversee the efficient loading of vehicles for transport to dealers and destinations to achieve maximum productivity and compliance. The area of responsibility is to ensure drivers achieve safe and damage free deliveries while in compliance with local yard SOPs, as well as all federal and state regulations pertaining to Operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee driver load mgt compliance of manufacturer or OEM vehicle handling, safety and securement policies.
  • Recognize trends and create innovative ideas to improve performance to meet operational KPI's and support a positive morale within the facility.
  • Support drivers in loading and exiting the yard efficiently with preferred routing in mind to ensure safe and damage free delivery.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance of load processes, correct configuration and equipment to ensure it meets all company and DOT standards.
  • Work with railroad and third-party ramp management for damage verifications and other unit discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Assist in load changes and process management for driver devices and document storage.
  • Prepare Preliminary Safety/Quality reports relating to Collision, Injury and Damages
  • Complete all tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma preferred or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 2 years yard supervisory or Auto Hauling experience
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and additional industry software preferred.
  • Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be available for work on weekends or holidays, as advised
  • Ability to drive courteously and professionally
