Overview

Dogwood Golf & Social is a new, 12,000-square-foot premium golf facility in Little Rock, Arkansas, targeting an opening in fall 2026. Dogwood is being built as a serious player-development destination combining advanced technology, professional instruction, custom club fitting, practice, and a welcoming social environment.

Target start date is late September 2026, with some flexibility based on the selected candidate's availability.

The facility is planned to feature:

  • Five public TrackMan simulator bays
  • Dedicated teaching and club-fitting bays
  • Indoor putting green with PuttView technology
  • Indoor short-game area with a real bunker
  • Premium golf retail and custom club fitting
  • Adult and junior instructional programs
  • Membership and public-access options

Dogwood is seeking a motivated and experienced Head Golf Professional / Lead Club Fitter to help launch and lead our golf operation. This person will help lead club fitting, retail, golf programming, customer experience, and the daily execution of Dogwood's golf operation. The successful candidate should be an excellent fitter, a capable instructor, a strong communicator, and someone who wants to help build a new golf business from the ground up.

This is a highly visible leadership position that will work directly with Dogwood's owner and lead instructor.

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the creation of a completely new golf operation. The selected candidate will have the ability to shape Dogwood's fitting program, retail strategy, operating standards, and customer experience from the beginning. The right candidate will be entrepreneurial, accountable, service-minded, and excited about helping establish Dogwood as the premier player-development and club-fitting destination in Arkansas.

Experience Required

Required:

  • Significant experience in golf operations, club fitting, instruction, or a related golfโ€‘industry role
  • Strong knowledge of golf equipment, ball flight, club specifications, and fitting principles
  • Experience using launchโ€‘monitor technology, preferably TrackMan
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to lead staff and maintain professional operating standards
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by the business
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastโ€‘moving startup environment

Preferred:

  • PGA of America membership or active progress through the PGA Professional Golf Management program
  • Previous experience as a Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, Director of Instruction, or senior club fitter
  • Manufacturer fitting certifications
  • Experience managing golf retail inventory and equipment accounts
  • Established relationships within the Little Rock or Arkansas golf community
