Production Assistant

Avalon International Aluminum is a family-run business that takes pride in building relationships by providing excellent customer service and superior products.
Avalon International Aluminum is looking for motivated, punctual, and industrious individuals that are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced facility with a relaxed informal work environment where integrity and performance with a mix of good humor are paramount.
This is a long-term opportunity with advancements and overtime available. The pay range will vary depending on experience, specific job duties, and qualifications, so even if you do not have any relevant experience, please apply.
The facility is not climate controlled and hearing and eye protection are required. Manual labor consists of lifting and moving anywhere from 7'-16' aluminum extrusions so there is an importance of physical health to be suitable for this work. Reliability is also a key factor that we will be looking for as our team operates and thrives on dependability.

Job duties consist of but are not limited to the following:

  • Moving or lifting heavy objects
  • Cutting, Punching, Milling, Bundling, Boxing, Packaging, and Palletizing Aluminum Extrusions
  • Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
  • Clean zones, work areas, equipment, or machinery
  • Adjust production equipment/machinery set-up
  • Monitor production machinery/equipment operation to detect problems
  • Sort raw stock and manufactured materials or products
  • Load, unload, or stack containers/materials and products by hand or with a forklift
  • Custom Pallet Building and Box Making
  • Other duties include making stock components, cleaning/hanging and powder coating of parts as well as other tasks assigned by Supervisors
