LOCATION: This is a full-time, on-site position based at our St Louis office located at 711 North 11 St, St Louis, MO 63101
PAY RATE: $20/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Lexitas is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Production Assistant to join our Reporting division. In this hands-on role, you'll be a key part of the team responsible for preparing and processing exhibits and transcripts that support litigation and legal services. If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment, have great organizational skills, and value accuracy, this role may be the perfect fit for you.
Lexitas is a rapidly growing national provider of legal and corporate support services, including court reporting, medical record retrieval, process service, registered agent services, and corporate filings. Our mission is to deliver unmatched service with integrity, professionalism, and responsiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Scan, print, tab, and assemble legal transcripts and exhibits for delivery
  • Duplicate CDs, DVDs, and USBs and ensure archive copies are complete and labeled accurately
  • Confirm job specifications and ensure all materials match client expectations and internal requirements
  • Manage shipment preparation, including packaging, labeling, and coordination with vendors (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Operate standard production equipment including scanners, copiers, and bindery machines
  • Maintain detailed data entry and upload records to internal systems
  • Help maintain a clean and organized production area and stock supplies
  • Support team training and cross-training initiatives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to work independently when needed
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfort with multitasking and meeting deadlines in a production-driven setting
  • Familiarity with legal documentation such as subpoenas and affidavits is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in document production, print services, or a related field
  • Proficient with Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and basic office technology
  • Must be able to stand and walk regularly, and lift or handle office materials as part of daily responsibilities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is not a supervisor position.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
