Hours- M-F 5:30AM-2PMSUMMARYWe are seeking a Production Assembler to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The Production Assembler will be responsible for assembling components accurately to create finished products. Patriot Products Group builds proprietary diesel and/or electric driven pump packages. Finished products will be built on fuel skids, DOT trailers, or in sound attenuated enclosures. We are seeking to fill multiple positions on our production floor. Our ideal candidate will have a high mechanical aptitude and ability to work with high sense of urgency and accuracy. This position assembles pump packages by following engineer drawings/instructions and working as part of a team. The assembly process includes mounting pumps, wiring engines/control panels, dressing pumps and building enclosures. It is imperative that people in this position are committed to working safely and supporting a strong safety culture. We need reliable people who are willing to show up to work on time, give maximum effort and are willing to work overtime as needed.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply) Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directionsReads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specificationsUses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasksMaintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistenciesMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when neededInventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are neededPeriodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisorPerforms other related duties as assigned  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities QUALIFICATIONSOperate power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble productsHigh Attention to detailPrevious experience with diesel engine controls is a plusFollow detailed instructions and engineering drawings for accurate assemblyUtilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issuesWritten and verbal communication skillsWorks well as part of a teamOperate overhead cranes and/or forklifts to move materials within the factory EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferredHigh mechanical aptitudeProficiency with power tools and hand toolsAbility to work efficiently on a shop floorFamiliarity with operating cranes/forklifts is a plusMechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)LANGUAGE SKILLS Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
