PRODUCTION PLANNER
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
$17.00–$22.00/hour DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, staffing, and material availability.
  • Coordinate production activities to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Communicate schedule changes with production, purchasing, warehouse, and management teams.
  • Evaluate labor, equipment, and material availability to support production goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and material flow to identify shortages or bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Resolve production scheduling and inventory issues to minimize downtime.
  • Track production performance and prepare reports for management.
  • Assist with production planning to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate production priorities with department supervisors.
  • Help establish production goals, priorities, and workflow schedules.
  • Support quality, safety, and company policy compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and required training.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, suppliers, and coworkers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
