Batcher

SmartTalent Kirkland is hiring a Batcher for a chemical manufacturing company located in Snohomish, WA. An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a production environment.


LOCATION: Snohomish, WA


SCHEDULE:

8am – 430pm Monday - Friday

PAY: $24 - $25

Advancement Opportunities

Responsibilities


Mix formulations.

·Follow batch sheets to add chemicals and components to the mixing tank in the correct quantities and order. Note small discrepancies on the batch sheet and report large discrepancies immediately.

·Once they’re mixed, package products in bottles, pails, drums, or other

·containers to sell (which often includes labeling those containers).


Lead the packaging line.

·Package products on various manual, semi-auto, and automatic equipment.

·Monitor the production line and equipment to address any issues as they arise.

·Ensure that product coming off the line meets quality control parameters (fill weight, coding, clean, square labels, etc.).


Prepare outbound drum shipments.

·Palletize and secure drums for shipment.


Maintain a clean, safe, and well stocked workspace.

·Thoroughly and promptly clean tools and tanks used for production.

·Ensure that all ingredients, supplies, products and equipment are clean and arranged in a tidy and safe manner.

·Empty all trash cans and sweep the floors in the manufacturing area regularly.


Equipment Maintenance

·Develop a thorough understanding of how all relevant manufacturing equipment works.

·Diagnose and repair small issues. Report larger issues promptly.

·Conduct routine maintenance.

·Lead other manufacturing-related processes as needed.


Required Qualifications:

·Two years’ experience working in a warehouse or production environment is preferred.

·A high school diploma is required.
