  • Establish systems for card data, templating, versioning, and asset management.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to determine what should be built internally vs. leveraged from existing capabilities.

  • Establish standards and processes for prepress, color management, and file preparation.
  • Ensure all card files meet the technical specifications required for high-quality printing at scale.
  • Build workflows that minimize errors and ensure consistency across large card sets.

Lead External Manufacturing Strategy

  • Define requirements for paper stock, finishes, printing techniques, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Partner internally to align on printing and production capabilities.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external printers and manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure final products meet standards for durability, playability, and collectible quality.

Bridge Creative, Product, and Manufacturing

  • Work closely with Creative, Design, and Product teams to ensure that card designs are production-ready without compromising vision.
  • Provide guidance on what is possible, scalable, and cost-effective in manufacturing.
  • Help translate creative ambition into practical, repeatable production systems.

Establish Quality Standards

  • Define and uphold quality standards for card feel, finish, color fidelity, and overall presentation.
  • Implement QA processes across both digital files and physical production.
  • Ensure consistency across sets, products, and print runs.

What You Bring

  • Experience building or managing production pipelines at scale.
  • Strong understanding of prepress, printing processes, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Experience working with or alongside technical teams to build production tools or systems.
  • Ability to operate across creative, technical, and operational domains.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with trading cards, tabletop games, or collectible products.
  • Familiarity with card and paper production systems and workflows.
  • Experience working with global printing and manufacturing partners.
