Job Description
Production Planning Manager:
Leads the production planning and master scheduling function to ensure reliable product availability, regulatory-compliant execution, and optimized inventory and working capital.
Your role:
  • Lead the production planning and master scheduling function, translating Integrated Business Planning demand into executable production plans across a global manufacturing and extended supply network.
  • Act as a key integrator across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned and compliant execution.
  • Own planning-related master data in close collaboration with Enterprise Information Management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and planning reliability.
  • Drive operational excellence by managing production schedule releases, inventory optimization using Demand Driven Materials Requirements Planning principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing planning team, shaping ways of working, improving performance, and supporting long-term career development.

You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or materials planning, including people management experience leading a team.
  • Your skills include strong end-to-end planning expertise, advanced use of SAP (Material Requirements Planning, bills of material, routings, lead times, and lot sizes), and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and scenario modeling.
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in complex manufacturing environments.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an organized, structured, and process-oriented leader who can inspire teams, drive execution and accountability, and continuously improve planning performance without losing sight of people and collaboration.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Reedsville, PA is $114,000 to $152,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Reedsville, PA.
