Job description

General Description:
Assist production staff and administration with various tasks associated to the operation including tracking, scheduling and coordinating delivery and offloading of raw material trucks and railcars.
Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance.
  • Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always Doing the right thing for our customers.
  • Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member
  • Help in the relief of breaks as needed
  • Maintain records and documentation
  • Schedule and coordinate delivery and offloading of raw material trucks and railcars
  • Receive all materials for BOM's in INFOR & Marcotte (ERP systems)
  • Processing of production orders
  • Cycle counting activities including researching variances and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Coordinate purchasing and delivery schedules with vendors
  • Processing of non-conforming materials and processing NCR's
  • Coordinate shuttling of raw material to and from offsite warehouses
  • Data entry tasks of production records
  • Creation and updating of work instructions and process documents
  • Ordering/Management of consumable items including Fastenal machines
  • Maintain records and documentation
  • Continuous improvement projects and tasks as assigned
  • Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
