Job Overview

Drive operational excellence as a Manager - Maintenance by leading maintenance standards and ensuring optimal machine availability in your plant.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Implement approved maintenance methods, procedures, and tools while managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Define and coordinate maintenance-specific processes and schedules collaboratively with supply chain and production planning teams.
  • Plan and drive preventative maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Oversee all maintenance activities across assigned workshops to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Contribute to the design, layout, realization, and continuous optimization of technical infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships and cooperation with external suppliers and maintenance service providers.
  • Lead and empower your team by creating development plans, coaching, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies including Quality, Safety, and Environment, while upholding Schaeffler's Code of Conduct. 
Your Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience leading maintenance operations in a high volume industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost analysis for maintenance programs, including labor, parts, and downtime impacts.
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to maintenance operations.
  • Background with reliability-centered maintenance, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship

Preferred: 

  • Certification such as CMRP, CRL, or other maintenance/reliability-related credential
  • Proven track record in transforming a classic maintenance department to a "zero unplanned downtime organization" 
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing vendor contracts, contractors, or capital improvement projects
  • Background in spare parts inventory control and lifecycle asset management
