A Day In the Life:
In the position of Ingredient Planning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all ingredient raw materials are delivered to production sites in the correct quantity, at the right time and at the lowest cost. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize planning processes, and support long-term supply strategies to meet business objectives.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Ensure timely availability of ingredient materials.
  • Minimize shortages and excess inventory.
  • Implement strategies to reduce material costs while maintaining service standards.
  • Partner with procurement, production planning, and logistics teams for ingredient needs.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to material availability, cost efficiency, and planning accuracy.
  • Identify planning workflows and lead initiatives in process improvements. Report out performance and opportunities to senior leadership.
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in the field of Supply Chain or related field
  • More than 5 years of experience in material planning within supply chain
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in leadership role
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Preferred Certifications: APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society), CPIM (Certified in Planning and
  • Inventory Management), or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Analysis for Excel, SAP-Master Data Governance (MDG)
