ABOUT THE ROLEย 

The Production Planner is responsible for full vendor management, purchase order management, and product deliveries. They will work closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and Logistics to execute the inventory plan and manage delivery objectives. They will collaborate with internal and external vendors to maintain delivery schedules and deadlines.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

  • Manage purchase orders lifecycle
  • Manage vendor ASNs in Outlook and NetSuite for on-time shipping and deliveryย 
  • Cultivatesย relationship with externalย vendorsย 
  • Lead weeklyย Work-In-Progress and delivery dateย discussionsย withย externalย vendorsย 
  • Troubleshoot delivery delays, identifying risks to the sales plan, and resolve with cross functional business partners and vendors
  • Coordinateย on time deliveryย withย Logistics, balancing vendor supplied dates withย Logistics supplied datesย 
  • Partners with Sourcing,ย Product Development,ย and Merch Planning teamsย toย ensure adherence to seasonal milestones and calendar deadlinesย 
  • Manage and resolveย short termย demand changesย 
  • Work closely withย cross-functional teamsย toย project raw material,ย greige demand, and vendor needs as neededย 
  • Manage SMS seasonal demands for on time delivery by working with cross-functional teams and vendorsย 
  • Ensure accuracy across WIP reports, tracker, and internal ERP system

QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

  • 3-5 years experience in supply chain, production planning, or comparable analytical role
  • Expert level Excelย skillsย with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret dataย 
  • Production management experience, both domestic and internationalย vendorsย preferredย 
  • Ability to manageย andย mine data from multiple sourcesย ย 
  • Ability toย quicklyย adapt and reprioritizeย based on the business needsย 
  • Detail orientedย individualย with a focus on accuracyย 
  • Proactive individualย whoย is solution orientedย andย maintainsย ownership of the accounts and orders they manageย 
  • Problem-solverย 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders andย vendorsย 
  • Prior ERP experience, preferably NetSuite
  • BS/BA in business administration, supply chainย managementย or work equivalentย
