THE ROLEWe are currently seeking a Deli Supervisor passionate about great local food to join our team! The Deli Supervisor leads a collaborative deli team with the main objective of driving the deli's overall success. This includes working with the Production Operations Manager to ensure high standards in food quality, merchandising, team performance, and customer service while supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.


Oversee deli operations including specialty cheese, daily hot food production, stock shelves and display cases to maintain freshness and visual appeal.


  • Carry out daily invoicing procedures and support monthly inventory counts and stock accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and product quality in alignment with company and provincial requirements.
  • Deliver an exceptional shopping environment with strong merchandising and in-stock standards and resolving customer concerns effectively.
  • Supervise deli team members including task delegation and setting daily priorities by fostering a high-performance culture, supporting training and coaching, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Previous experience in a deli, food service, or grocery environment, or similar experience.
  • Previous supervising experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold environment, -4C.
  • Food Safe Level 1 certificate required.
  • Work Full-Time between, 40 hours a week between 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM with 7 days a week availability.
