About the Role
The Bilingual Spanish/English - 2nd Shift Manufacturing Production Supervisor, leads recycle operations while setting the standard for culture, safety, productivity, and people development . This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing teams, driving accountability, and creating a workplace employees are proud to be part of.
Success in this role is measured by safe production, engaged employees, and reduced turnover .
Our hours of operation are:
    • 1st shift - 6 am-2 pm
    • 2nd shift - 2 pm-10 pm
    • 3rd shift - 10 pm-6 am
What You'll Be Doing
Lead & Build Culture
    • Build trust, accountability, and teamwork on the floor
    • Communicate expectations clearly and consistently
    • Address issues directly and professionally
    • Model IPC's core values every day
    • Maintain a professional appearance and leadership presence

Champion Safety
    • Lead a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and accountability
    • Conduct weekly safety meetings and production/process training
    • Perform regular safety inspections and follow up on findings
    • Set the example for proper PPE usage
    • Work toward and maintain a zero recordable accident environment

Drive Production & Efficiency
    • Meet daily production goals within budget
    • Oversee recycle operations, including lumber recovery, reman, GMA repair, and sorting
    • Monitor productivity per labor hour (PPLH) and drive continuous improvement
    • Minimize overtime through planning and cross-training
    • Ensure housekeeping standards are met daily

Develop & Retain People
    • Coach and develop supervisors, team leaders, and production employees
    • Build strong relationships with team members
    • Clearly communicate expectations for production, safety, teamwork, and attendance
    • Support employee growth and improve retention through consistent leadership

What We're Looking For
    • Prior supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing, recycling, or industrial operations
    • Experience leading a minimum of 20 - 50 team members at a time
    • Bilingual English and Spanish - required
    • Strong communication and people leadership skills
    • A safety-first mindset
    • Ability to coach, train, and hold teams accountable
    • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
