Job description

JADE Solutions manufactures custom escape-room and themed-entertainment packages involving CNC fabrication, scenic finishing, electronics, assembly, packaging, and freight.

We are seeking a strong production leader who can keep people and projects moving from production release through final shipment. This is a hands-on leadership role located beside the production floor—not a desk-only management position.

What You’ll Own

  • On-time shipment, production throughput, and first-pass quality
  • Daily and weekly production priorities across CNC, finishing, FX, assembly, and packaging
  • Leadership and development of the Production Lead and shop team
  • Inspections, quality control, and production problem-solving
  • Customer communication regarding specifications, changes, and shipment timing
  • Implementation of approved engineering changes
  • Freight scheduling, package completeness, and final shipment approval
  • Hiring, discipline, overtime approval, and deployment of production employees

This position does not own BOM purchasing, vendor ordering, or onsite installation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, logistics, military operations, or a similar execution-focused environment
  • Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading frontline employees and managing competing deadlines
  • Ability to make decisions and keep work moving when instructions are incomplete
  • Comfortable reading drawings, specifications, and production documentation
  • Willingness to spend significant time on the production floor

A manufacturing or operations degree is helpful but not required. Experience with CNC operations, woodworking, electronics, custom fabrication, packaging, or freight is a plus.

The Right Person

You take ownership, hold people accountable, communicate directly, and do not stop when you encounter the first speed bump. You know when to solve a problem yourself, when to involve others, and when to escalate an issue before it threatens the schedule.

Reports to: Manufacturing Operations Manager
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with additional hours when required to meet major shipment deadlines.
