Shift: Thursday-Saturday, 5:30 AM-6:00 PM, with rotating Wednesdays
We are seeking a driven and collaborative Production Supervisor to join our Hillsboro, Oregon team. In this role, you will be accountable to meet departmental production targets by leading a high-performing team with a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will supervise production operators, manage scheduling and workflow, and foster an environment where teamwork, innovation, and accountability thrive.
This position partners closely with engineering and other crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless operations across all production shifts.
What You'll Do
  • Champion Safety:
    Promote and model safe work practices. Partner with EHS to deliver safety training and reinforce a strong safety culture. Monitor the work area for adherence to procedures, restrictions, cleanliness, and potential hazards.

  • Lead & Develop Your Team:
    Ensure employees receive effective training and ongoing support. Address performance issues with proper documentation and manage performance reviews and corrective actions in a timely and consistent manner.

  • Drive Operational Excellence:
    Provide clear communication regarding goals, expectations, and daily priorities. Collaborate with fellow supervisors, engineering, and management to keep operations aligned and efficient.

  • Ensure Quality Outputs:
    Oversee production to ensure output meets quality standards. Support investigations of quality defects, develop and recommend corrective actions, and contribute to document updates and scrapreduction initiatives.

  • Promote Lean & Continuous Improvement:
    Utilize Lean/Six Sigma concepts such as SPC, Kanban, and 6S to streamline operations. Apply PDCA and visual management to optimize resource planning, schedule attainment, and daily improvements.

  • Monitor Production Performance:
    Track hourbyhour production results and escalate issues promptly. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination, and equipment/process efficiency improvements.

  • Be the First Point of Contact:
    Provide day-to-day direction and respond to shift-level concerns, including safety incidents, quality issues, and personnel matters.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles with the ability to quickly gain competency in your specific production module

  • Ability to work modified hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to shifting workforce, environmental, and customer needs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team

  • Commitment to employee development, accountability, and engagement

  • Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
