This role is full time and 100% on site
About Us: Groundworks Industries is a vertically integrated cannabis company based in Oregon, focused on producing high-quality cannabis products. We are seeking a highly motivated Beverage Production Manager to oversee our growing line of cannabis beverages, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.
Position Overview: The Beverage Production Lead will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end production of cannabis beverages, from overseeing production schedules to ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining equipment, and managing supply chains to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beverage manufacturing, an understanding of cannabis regulations, and experience in quality assurance and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Oversight: Support daily production operations to ensure the timely and efficient manufacture of cannabis-infused beverages, adhering to production schedules and goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and monitor quality control processes to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards. Work closely with the QA team to ensure product consistency.
  • Testing & Compliance: Ensure that all products undergo necessary testing to meet state and company safety regulations. Maintain compliance with cannabis industry regulations (OLCC, METRC).
  • Equipment Maintenance: Support the maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Support: Monitor raw material levels, and ensure that all necessary ingredients, packaging, and supplies are available to meet production demands.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility in compliance with OSHA and food safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance as requested from the Beverage and Production Managers.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in beverage manufacturing, ideally in a regulated industry (e.g., food, beverage, cannabis).
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, testing, and compliance within the cannabis or beverage industry.
  • Experience with production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations, including METRC and OLCC requirements, is a plus.
