Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and effective use of personnel, equipment, and materials. The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 25-30 production employees, providing leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, supervise, and develop a team of approximately 25-30 production employees.

  • Plan, direct, and prioritize production activities to maximize efficiency while controlling costs.

  • Coordinate production schedules to optimize the use of staffing, machinery, and materials.

  • Develop and implement operating procedures that improve productivity, eliminate operational issues, and enhance product quality.

  • Revise production schedules and priorities to meet customer requirements.

  • Work closely with engineering personnel regarding work order modifications and technical drawings.

  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve manufacturing issues and improve tooling, processes, and production methods.

  • Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and training, and promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

  • Prepare production reports, communicate production statistics to management, and provide production forecasts.

  • Foster positive employee relations in accordance with company policies.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (required)

  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required

  • Previous experience supervising manufacturing or production teams

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Technical communication skills
