We are seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. This leadership role is responsible for optimizing production processes, developing high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities Production Operations
  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and business goals.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee training and development.
  • Promote a safe and positive work environment.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators to drive operational improvements.
  • Support the implementation of best practices across manufacturing operations.
Quality & Safety
  • Ensure products consistently meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Communicate operational performance and improvement initiatives to leadership.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or production management.
  • Strong leadership experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and production planning.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • OSHA Safety Certification
