Location: Byron Center, MI
Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a dependable and hardworking individual looking for a manufacturing opportunity? We're seeking a Dock - Production Associate to join our team in Byron Center, MI. In this role, you'll assist with production, packaging, material handling, and recycling operations while maintaining quality standards and workplace safety.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Dock - Production Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Reporting to the Manager at the start of each shift for daily assignments and direction.
  • Inspecting and packaging parts according to specification sheets while accurately recording required information on in-process documentation.
  • Bundling, wrapping, stacking, packing, assembling, and labeling materials according to production instructions.
  • Operating side-wrappers and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with recycling operations through the use of Pre-Breakers and Re-Grinding equipment for EPS materials.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Following all quality standards, departmental procedures, and safety requirements.
What We're Looking ForQualifications:
  • Manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb steps or ladders, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to reach both forward and overhead as required.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments.
  • Must be trained and familiar with general safety procedures.
Skills:
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: General understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operations, quality standards, and departmental procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect products and accurately complete required production documentation.
