ROLE SUMMARY:

The Production Manager will lead a team of leaders assisting the site to meet production goals and increase the organization's production efficiencies. You will be responsible for building the production schedules making sure production processes stay within budgets, and reviewing the productivity of your team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, direct, and control daily operations in a production facility

  • Proactively execute service, cost, productivity, health & safety/environment, and quality standards ensuring a productive work environment for all employees

  • Provide direction, coaching, and counseling to Team Members and Front-Line Leaders

  • Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance

  • Participation in task forces for improvement in quality, safety, efficiency, 5S, etc.

  • Manage budget, drive cost savings, and champion cost control initiatives

  • Develop and manage a budget to meet goals and deliver results against challenging key performance indicators

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field preferred, but not required

  • Minimum 5 years' experience; Experience in both Engineering and Operational environment preferred

  • 3+ years leadership experience required

  • Expert in process and mechanical engineering technologies

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent project planning, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Working knowledge of budgeting and cost control

  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, controls, and preventative maintenance programs

  • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
