We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a shift, ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently, and foster a positive, high-performance team culture.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach production associates, line leads, and material handlers.
  • Set expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Build an inclusive, accountable, and growth-focused team environment.
  • Support cross-training, skill development, and succession planning.

Production & Efficiency
  • Manage daily production schedules to meet customer and shift targets.
  • Optimize labor, materials, and equipment usage; reduce downtime and waste.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to address production challenges.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with SOPs.

Safety & Quality
  • Lead daily safety huddles and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Conduct audits, report incidents, and maintain a zero-incident culture.
  • Monitor product quality at various stages; partner with Quality to resolve issues.
  • Perform first-piece and final inspections as needed.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting
  • Lead Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Track and report metrics such as OEE, throughput, scrap, rework, and downtime.
  • Use data and visual management to drive floor-level accountability and results.

Collaboration
  • Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate effectively with other supervisors.
  • Partner with materials, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Report metrics, issues, and improvement ideas to leadership.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing/production; 3+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, safety protocols, and quality systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, and production scheduling.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 20 lbs., and work safely at heights.

Preferred
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt).
  • Experience in automated or semi-automated production environments.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
