Operations Management Trainee
Kirby Risk is seeking recent college graduates for operations management trainee roles, focusing on branch operations. This extensive 1-year development program will include exposure to branch management, key operations, sales support, and vendor interactions.

The KR Distribution Trainee Program
  • 1-year program focused on mentoring, coaching, and foundational educational courses, and continuous feedback
  • Extensive industry-based product training and our service capabilities, operations,s and logistics
  • Immersion in the Kirby Risk customer service sales experience

  • Exposure to various business units and locations

Requirements of a Distribution Trainee candidate:
  • Resides in the assigned base location during the Bachelor's degree in business, Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Economics/Finance, or other relevant degrees
    • Military experience considered in lieu of a degree
    • 5+ Years of proven sales or customer service experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Travel will be required to assigned locations during and following the program
  • Successful completion of a Capstone project to be defined upon start
  • Willingness to relocate to the assigned Kirby Risk Market location after successful completion of the program

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments
  • Expect travel to increase by up to 40%
