The Position

We are looking for a dependable, experienced printer who understands the screen-printing process and can confidently move between automatic and manual production.

The ideal candidate can walk into the shop, understand a job, set it up correctly, troubleshoot problems, and produce quality work without constant supervision.


Responsibilities


  • Set up and operate automatic screen-printing presses
  • Operate manual screen-printing presses
  • Register multi-color screen-printing jobs
  • Set up screens, squeegees, floods, off-contact and print parameters
  • Perform press adjustments during production
  • Mix and match screen-printing inks
  • Understand mesh selection and stencil requirements
  • Understand flash and curing requirements
  • Troubleshoot registration, ink and print-quality problems
  • Maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs
  • Perform quality-control checks
  • Assist with screen preparation, reclaiming and shop cleanup as needed
  • Perform basic press maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Maintain an organized and productive work area

At Dancing Dog Ink, you'll be joining an established custom screen-printing shop where experience matters. We have a Javlin 6-color automatic, ROQ 4-color automatic, and two manual presses, giving experienced printers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and production runs.
