Job description

Position Summary

Hans-Mill Corp. is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support our plastic injection molding and assembly operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and compliance requirements through in-process and final inspections.

This is a hands-on position working directly on the production floor with operators, supervisors, and leadership to maintain quality standards and prevent defects.

Key Responsibilities

ยท Perform in-process and final inspections on molded and assembled products

ยท Verify part dimensions, labeling, and appearance against specifications

ยท Conduct visual and functional inspections for defects (flash, short shots, contamination, labeling errors, etc.)

ยท Use basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges, templates, scales)

ยท Complete inspection records, check sheets, and quality documentation accurately

ยท Identify and report nonconforming material immediately

ยท Support containment, sorting, and rework activities when needed

ยท Ensure proper barcode and product verification before shipment

ยท Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams

ยท Follow all safety policies and 5S standards
