Job Summary:

IMC Outdoor Living, a subsidiary company of Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking an experienced Production Line Lead. This role oversees a team of production line workers and conveyor systems, managing daily tasks such as break times, employee training, and ensuring efficient production. They utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges and maintain expertise in the production line's operations.


Hours:

Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 4:30pm

Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm

Every other Saturday 5:30am - 2:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers.
  • Provide training and guidance to line workers on proper production techniques and safety procedures.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure production schedules are met by monitoring workflow.
  • Maintain production efficiency by troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise on the production line in coordination with maintenance.
  • Monitor and control production costs while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on the production line.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, labor hours, and material usage.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production performance and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all employees in the facility, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of machinery and tools.
  • Working knowledge and experience with a CMMS system.
  • Ability to solve problems in a timely, professional manner.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and implementation of safety regulations.
  • Strong willingness to work hard, reliable, attentive and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand and move around for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English & Spanish

Education and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of relevant production line experience in an industrial setting.
  • 2-3 years prior experience in leadership in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
