About The Opportunity
The Product Data Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of SAP material data. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This individual is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability. The Product Data Specialist excels at problem-solving, building relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs. They are proactive, adaptable, and committed to contributing to overall team and company success.
Use training opportunities to develop a thorough knowledge of the following areas:
  • Manufacturing and services processes.
  • Supply chain processes.
  • Unique customer requirements.
  • All data points contained within the SAP material and how changes to one data point might affect other data points.
Perform the following tasks daily:
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Account Managers, Project Managers, Supply Planning, and Customer Service Representatives who support assigned customers.
  • Maintain shared customer notes files in the appropriate shared location.
  • Review the SharePoint Product Data dashboard multiple times per day and promptly process customer validation requests to create accurate SAP materials and shop cards.
  • Review Fusion project management dashboard multiple times per day and manage layout requests for your customers.
  • Maintain SAP material records for all new validations, updates, and changes.
  • Identify data discrepancies and partner with internal teams to resolve issues while supporting data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards.
  • Respond to production requests for shop card changes in a timely manner.
  • Strive for continued improvement of departmental procedures and processes.
  • Must be willing to work in a collaborative team environment and volunteer to assist other team members with workloads when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the corrugated industry is preferred. Experience with other packaging or printing manufacturers will also be considered.
  • High school diploma required. Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive is preferred.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous and thorough in all work.
  • Process-driven: Able to understand and follow well-defined processes and systems.
  • Strong work ethic: Demonstrates diligence, reliability, and commitment.
