As a member of the production department, the Filler Operator will operate the filler/capper, and other production equipment as assigned, in a safe and efficient manner to produce a quality product in a timely and efficient manner.
Pay Range: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Hours: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Fresno, CA
Travel Requirements: None
Work Environment Available: On-site
Core Responsibilities:
  • Operate in a safe manner by following all established safety policy and procedures.
  • Follow all Food Safety rules/regulations. This is to include all Plant Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Execute company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Report any quality issues or equipment defects to the production supervisor.
  • Ensure and assist in sanitation/cleaning and quality control operations.
  • Communicate required information to co-workers and managers.
  • Rotate line duties as requested by Production Supervisor.
  • Follow tally sheets based off the daily production plans.
  • Ensure planned production quantities are met by effectively utilizing both the production equipment and human resources available.
  • Assists Maintenance Department personnel on the repair or set-up of machine to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
  • Take an active role in start-ups and changeovers to have assigned machine ready to operate when product is available, including CIP's when necessary.
  • Maintain a food safe environment, complying with company policies, GMPs, and FDA/USDA regulations.
  • Must be able to work in a production environment while continuously performing above essential job functions.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the production supervisor

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the filler on a particular production line.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High school or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in warehousing/manufacturing within related fields.
