Job description

Balance Staffing is hiring a Production Coordinator for a leading food production and manufacturing company in the area.



Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM



We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Production Coordinator to join a fast-paced food production environment. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Production, and Customer Service to coordinate production schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure products are delivered to customers on time and in full.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly production schedules to meet inventory goals and maximize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Review production work orders for accuracy, completeness, and variances.
  • Close and postproduction work orders accurately using the FreshByte system.
  • Perform inventory balance calculations and process inventory adjustments.
  • Prepare weekly inventory adjustment reports.
  • Analyze inventory transactions and assist with corrections as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages.
  • Help maintain smooth material flow throughout the production facility.
  • Participate in production planning meetings to support inventory accuracy, cost reduction, and on-time delivery.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • 2–3 years of experience in production coordination, production planning, or a similar manufacturing role.
  • Strong attendance record with a reputation for reliability and dependability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP or production management systems is preferred (FreshByte experience is a plus).
