Job Description

As Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in our sheet metal fabrication process. You will work closely with experienced team members to learn and perform various tasks involved in the production of sheet metal components. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in manufacturing and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of sheet metal fabrication machinery, including shears, press brakes, and laser cutters.
• Load and unload materials onto machines and ensure proper alignment and positioning.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Learn and apply various fabrication techniques and processes.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Work Environment

This position is based in a metal shop located in Oakland. You will work in a hands-on environment with various machinery and equipment, adhering to safety protocols to ensure a clean and organized workspace

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
