What does a production coordinator do?

A production coordinator manages and coordinates a film or television production crew. Their job responsibilities are to supervise production assistants, coordinate scheduling, and track billing. The production manager often gives them additional tasks. A production coordinator splits their time between the set and the production office. They sometimes help with promotion and marketing for the film or television program.
