A growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Control Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and material flow. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, inventory accuracy, and on-time customer delivery while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production planning, scheduling, and inventory control activities.
  • Manage WIP, cycle counts, physical inventories, and material availability.
  • Optimize production flow to meet customer demand and operational goals.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to improve performance.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs including inventory turns, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead the Production Control team while promoting safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Strong ERP/MRP and inventory management experience.
  • Background in high-volume manufacturing.
